Cinema Displays shipping delays are increased to “5 to 7 days” from Apple Stores around the world. This may be an alert that this old product (6 years now) could be updated soon.

Planes are grounded all around Europe. Apple orders are mainly shipped around Europe from the Netherlands and they will undergo a double impact of Iceland’s Volcano:
Many customers told us that their orders will suffer delays.

On Wednesday April 14th, Apple announced that iPad international release will be postponed to end of May instead of end of April. An unequivocal message is visible on French, English, German, Canadian, Australian, Japanese, Spanish an Swiss Apple Store.
Apple says iPad US launch has been a great success and the demand exceeds the offering. 500 000 iPad have already been sold the first week.
International prices will be announced on May 10th (and we will add them to the TechObservers matrix) but the iPad won’t be available before end of May.
3G version is still planned for end of April in the US.
